id request, pleasse

first lot[image align=left][/image]

habitat- found growing in some munched up woodchip stuff, man made!

Gills (underside)- arn't attached and kind of creamy white

Stem- thin, snaps,lighter brown at top anddarker at bottom, about an inch and a bit in length, about 2 mm in diameter.

Cap- about half an inch or bit less in diametre, mixed light and dark brown,a bit creamy in parts, quite flat

it hasn't really seemed to bruise
and don't really have much of a scent.



second lot

habitat- found growing in some munched up woodchip stuff, man made!

Stem- thin, brittle,creamy brown at top anddarker at bottom, about an inch and a bit in length, about 1 mm in diameter.

Cap- about half an inch or bit less in diametre about half inch in height aswell, creamy slight orange/browny tan at the top, quite round

sporeprint- almost black

bruised a dark murky kind of brown
and and have a slight scent.

no.throw them away.they are too dry and indistinguishable.cheers anyway though.

sorry, didn't mean to be a dick...

LBMs = Little Brown Mushrooms, or damn difficult to ID even when fresh. Pretty much a waste of time.

Like coon said, throw 'em out.

I think if you're looking for actives, you need to find a guide to actives in your area and start looking for specific mushrooms.

The top one looks a lot like Chrysomphalina chrysophylla.

Yes, but in that condition it is hard to tell...

The substrate (woodchips) suggests something like Psathyrella gracilis, which would yield black spores.
