Primordia to Pins... HOW LONG?
    #684645 - 06/17/02 07:42 PM (15 years, 10 months ago)

I have a fully colonized compost substrate (Thai KS) started on rye berries.
I have obvious primordia popping up all over it (it's uncased). The colonization took only 19 days from knock, 9.5 in the berries, 9.5 in the compost. Colonization temp. was 85F, and now I've lowered it to 74.

Here's a pic:

About how long until the primordia pin? Anyone?

I'll probably always do drugs, so that just contributes to the addiction to The Shroomery... It's a vicious circle of bliss. :tongue2:

I love Rush! Limelight is my favorite song by them too!

To answer your question, I'd say 1-3 days. Kinda broad, I know, but these things do depend on several factors as I'm sure you know.
