Windows Media Player 11 issue

With windows media player 11 (and vista, I know tons of issues) I cant play any WMA files. Any idea on how to fix it? The error says the file extension or codecs are not installed or compatible.

Anyone know why I cant install WinAmp either? Says I am missing MSVCP71.dll but I have it in window/system directory. Not sure why I am getting these erros but I assume it has to do with Vista fucking users up the ass.

do you have windows vista or just the upgrade of windows... either way, windows media player 11 blows.. it doesnt even support .mp3 files.. the best thing to do is to use the old version, or change media players.

There are no problems with Vista. There are no error dialogs. There are no missing codecs. You like windows vista. You need windows vista. There are no problems with windows vista. (keep repeating until the problem goes away)

Media player 11 plays mp3's fine for me. I just cant get it to play any WMA files.

XP or vista... the no mp3 thing seems to be specific to WMP11 on Vista.
