 Sony Net-MD/Sonicstage

Okay, So say I have a Sony Net-MD, to copy tracks from my computer to my MiniDisc player I've got to use sonicstage, simple enough...now all the tracks on my computer I've compied from CD's I own, so i go threw the process, and right when it's about to write to minidisc, it tell's me that it can't obtain a liscense...
WTF? What's the deal with this? I don't know anything about this "migrating liscense" thing....Can someone give me a hand..I need some new minidisc's 
***I just got a better understanding of the process, my question now is: Is there a way to change a Windows Media Audio file to a Sonicstage file?****

The Import function doesn't seem to "migrate" this geh ass license junk..

Sonicstage is the absolute gayest program ever..Sony had a good thing before they decided to jump on the rainbow parade...

Windows Media Player...I need a MP3 encoder...I believe, just got to locate one....<scratch's head>

if you use wmp, doesn't it only put it into some windows media file? Plus I think it has protection added to the files if you use wmp.

yes it only rip's to WMA format unless you have a MP3 encoder (which i didn't)
So I think I can go from WMA to .WAV to .MP3...and then from MP3 to sonicstage..
I wish I would of known all this prior to ripping all those cd's...
Do you know of any program's that would be good for this?

I like sound forge. Someone said that sony bought them out, so I don't know what the official site is now, but it won't be hard to find with a google search.
