Do you miss Barry Sanders?

I know I sure do.

Especially after watching something like this

the guy retired while still in his prime. We can only dream about what he would've been capable of had he been put on a better team (although all respects to jeff hartings and herman moore)

Too bad he didn't play for Dallas. I would have liked to see him with that offensive line.

What's most amazing to me is the fact that he did all those incredible moves mostly on astroturf and I can't remember if he had a major knee injury or not, but I don't think he did.

Hahaha, you know, I remember watching Lions games even though they completely blew ass, JUST to see Barry play.


He was truely one of the few "one-man offenses". I'd say not even Michael Vick has the speed or juking ability Barry did.

He just made defenses look like bloopers. Check out the video, especially the run at 2:34.

LT's damn good, don't get me wrong.

but I stilll don't think he has the capability to carry a team the way barry did.

Who knows though, he still has a whole lot of football left in his career.

Yeah, carrying an entire team is a huge task. LT has talent around him to help out, unlike the Lions of Sander's era.

However, as far as being innovative at his craft and being a decent human being LT is the closest to Sanders we have.
