who to see a whale today?

i did
and i got paid to do it. as a treat. today my job sent me and 2 other guideds at my work out on a reaserch boat and we went all over the bay lookin for critters. we were told that there was a ctualy a whale in the bay and they had been tracking it the day before . we werent even out 10 min when the damn thing surfaced right next too us no more than 50 feet. :tripping:

very humbaling seing him slowly mash hish way through the bay. it was a grey whale. also i got to see lots of other stuff ad was a great day of science and svenery :laugh:

I saw a turkey vulture when I was running in the hills yesterday, soaring no more than twen feet away from me

It was magnificient, truly making me realize what an utter waste my life is

That is so fucking kick ass! That is on my things to do list before I die. I am sure it was a wonderful experience. Grey whales are the largest living mammals if I am not mistaken.

My wife took this a few months ago, from a whale watching tour boat a few miles off the coast. humpback whales are everywhere all winter long out here.... it is an amazing sight to watch these things jump out of the water and splash back down.
