humidity?

my friend's cakes, which are in a hydra pod, are pinning quite nicely, but according to his humidity gauge the pod is maintaining only 95% humidity. is this alright to fruit or is it suppose to be at 100%?

If your cakes are in a hydropod, they should be just fine. If i remember correctly the hydropod takes care of itself just fine.

From your post i see your cakes are 'pinning quite nicely' ..... this means your RH (relative humidity) is just fine!

90-95% humidity at the most for cakes, less for casings
