got me a new tattoo!

an old friend's brother has been apprenticing at another friend's shop & when i came home on monday, my roomate had gotten a free tattoo from him (he was passing out these cards, i guess he needs practice/publicity and so is tattooing his friends for free); so i went down there yesterday and picked up a card from him. then he calls me back a few hours later, saying his brother (who had an appt yesterday evening) still hadn't shown up, so if i wanted to, to come down and get my work done. the piece itself was a bit limited by size (since it was free and all) and i didn't want anything too complex as he has only been doing ink for 6 months or something - so i decided to get a GD lightning bolt on the back of my right arm, just above the elbow. turned out really nice; unfortunately the only camera i have here is my phone, which is pretty shitty, but anyhow:

now i want to go back and get another one in the same spot on my left arm for symmetry's sake, but i doubt he'll give me another free tat, and i don't want to pay :lol:

I don't think it would look very good symmetrical anyways.. Unless you have plans to become a superhero.

If I went back I would probably get some color, it's nice but it looks a little bland.

I'm not trying to be mean, but look at it. Its just a black outline. It doesn't even have any cool dramatic width to it, just a skinny black outline. How boring!
