bodysuits are a process, thats why you usually see random spots done until slowly over time its all incorporated into one piece.

bodysuits that are one singular piece of flowing linework are pretty rare as well and most people cant afford that.

This is 99% of the time not the case. Most people are just foolish

There's nothing fun about a bleeding vagina tattooed on the back of your neck at 90. Well I don't know maybe that's the exception.

Its cool there just isn't anything behind it.

That is most likely my next tattoo and it is meant to represent the psychedelic world and a lot of my own personal beliefs. I've always been fond of the "third eye" of perception as I feel its always had a role in my life.

it's photoshopped. if it was really inked on a body it would look very different.

considering how much it complements the background, it does look photoshopped. The abs are a giveaway; the tattoo doesnt follow the contours...

I work in a tattoo shop, I cannot help but be anal about them. I will tell you though that any artist is the same way, the amount of people that are turned away for bringing in stupid tattoos is phenomenal. Something that is permanent should have a permanent meaning.

that's the first i hear of it. the artists i've heard of tattoo anything on the persons body if they pay for it. it's not the artists place to comment upon it imo.

Its not the artist's choice to turn down tattoos? If someone walks in wanting a tattoo of Hitler fucking God he should just do it despite how he feels? Maybe in some shitty tattoo place they take everything that walks through the door, but in all the shops I've hungout in thats not the case. Most of the artists make some pretty good bank and have respect in their job and what they do. They try to avoid doing as many stupid tattoos as possible and try to maximize the good art in their portfolio.

I'm talking about artists that charge $100+ an hour.

i've seen a guy with hitler's detailed face on his back in the same style steve-o has his face on his back. i mean the whole back was one huge detailed hitlers face. he had nazi symbols all over his body, even a pile of burning jews, marching SS forces and swaztikas etc.

i asked my tattoo guy about if its even legal to tattoo that shit but he said no known artists wants to ink that stuff so there are special underground artists who only ink nazi & commie shit on people...

although he tattooed what people wanted, who cares if it looks ridiculous?

You just proved my point for me...its up to an artist to decide what and who he will tattoo, end of story. Be thankful that there are artists out there that will NOT tattoo ridiculous tattoos. You and I stand on opposite sides of the fence though, which is why this is never going to come to a head. I love tattoos and plan on having a large majority of my body covered in them, but the second is loses its taste is the moment I stop. Tattoos can either make a person shine or turn them into a fool.

the artist should be able to refuse the tattoo. but if theyre willing to do your tattoo, i think they should put their spin on YOUR piece, not put their piece on YOUR skin...

anyway, i got my tat

it was an idea i had for a while. just didnt know where to put it, and it came to me while i was watchin my roomate squirm, and she was forcing me to hold her hand...
