Trying to play the trumpet in high school band was almost impossible once I got braces. I had to relearn how to play all over again and I was never as good as I was without them.

Metal attached to my teeth in order to rearrange them in my face seems just a trifle insane to me now.

And I chipped my teeth slightly one day. You can only see the chipping if you are paying attention though. Nothing extreme, thank GOD.

Ugh, one kid that I played in a city all-star band with had to get braces. Had to miss out on a year in Grammy Band because he had to play trombone instead of trumpet while he had them. Eventually him and his family decided they weren't worth it (this kid is sick, I mean, he's a freshman playing in Grammy Band) so they took them off like a year before they were supposed to. Real good move on their part.

I think I might be working in Australia for awhile on an organic farm.  Shoudld be fun, but I just have to negotiate time off from work. :smile:

I just got off of work.  Busy damn night.  So many people were out with the nice weather in MA, today. 

I work in a restaurant.  So, I don't get out til late.  Now, I'm all hyped up and drunk, lol.  Just bored and want someone to talk to. :smile:

Ah, I had to benchmark this guys new gaming pc, he got great scores, 106 avg fps in oblivion, everything on max.

But, I'm a weird point in my life.  Like a half-way mid-life crisis.  Kinda like when you wake up from a dream...that's what I'm like.


I'm really finding the true-calling in my life.  I just want to travel and explore.  I will fund it anyway I can.  Travel is apart of me, and I will do it anyway I can. :smile:

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

I'm in a little crisis of my own but I'm trying to make the best of it. I'm 21 but I don't feel a day over 16. On one hand I feel like I need to make a huge leap and abandon my current lifestyle but the majority of me tells me that I should embrace my young internal age and not change a thing. It's weird. My dad was 26 when my mom had me, and now I'm 5 years from that age.

lol.  Nah, I just don't value money.  I like more of the life experience than anything else. 

When I say this I get matched with such hostility.  People just trying to force me into thinking that their way of thought was superior. 

But, now I know that what I think, and only what think is for me.  I befg of everyone to think that way.

You're given life.  You might as well make an adventure out of it, htan just monotony. :smile:

You're 21. Life is what you make of it.

Peronsally, I would say, not change a thing. If you're happy, stay happy. Don't ever change yourself or way of thinking for anyone else. You wont' be happy. Happiness about about self-acceptance.

Once you know who you truly are, then you'll find out your real self. Its not for everyone. Just the rare free-thinkers.
