It's a drum and bass track, very short.
I want to know what you guys think of the sound so far.
The samples and so on..

So critical feedback please.

woah! the drums are spinning me in circles!  i love it... i love your kit and your rhythms.

but you say it's a D&B track, where's the B?

hopefully I can explain this concept clearly:
there are sounds that loop for a foundational purpose.
there are sounds that extend or change over long periods that blend individual phrases uniting the larger piece. this may be a sustained noise, a longer melody that spans bars, or some changing sound effect.

in my very humble opinion, i think you need some of the latter.

I may be getting very ahead of you since you only asked critique of the sounds and not the composition, and at :52 maybe this is only a demo, so please feel free to tell me "slow down B..." heh

Back to your post's question, I dig your sounds. the female "ooh" is smooth and well-positioned in soundspace, and the center-panned synth has a tasty amount of modulation, at least seemingly.

slap some more shit on there! make those beats DROP with some heavy bass...

Thanks, finaly a response.
I'm kind of stuck at a point where I don't know what to do next right now.
I fully understand your comments btw.
I think I might need to play with the beat so that I can change the melody at that point probably.
Maybe a vocal of some sort, or I'll just throw you into a psychedelic sound.
Which would blast you to a peak and be followed up by the chorus?

Thanks again for the response, I needed a bit of confirmation that it is something good. My serious lack of producing has made me insecure.

I know that if you like it, it has to be good.
When I do something new to it I will post it in this thread again.

Bye!

the melody was kinda lame, but i liked the drums, and the way it moved around was really trippy!
