Man, I had one of the greatest lsd trips ever, last night. A buddy of mine kicked me down 6 hits of this incredible blotter and I have been holding onto it for just such and occassion. Danksis and Elijah went to some friends to visit for a pot luck dinner, so I take the chance to try out this magical paper! I started off by riding my bike down to the 5-Points south area(about 2 miles) to this bar that a friend of mine owns. I wasn't drinking so I just order a bottled water and put in sts9's dvd, 'Live as Time Changes' on his projector unit and proceeded to come up.
As I came up, this calm came over me and I found myself just grinning stupidly at the screen. There was some metal band setting up the stage and apparently, they have a fairly large biker following, because the bar started filling up with these rowdy biker types. It was funny, because they were loving the Sound Tribe! All were bobbing their heads in time with the music. It was really a sight to see!
Well, the metal band started to play just as the dvd ended. Let me tell you, I don't know who told this lead singer that he could sing, but it sounded like a cat was being twisted and tortured in all manners. It was horrible. They did mostly covers while I was there (about 45 minutes), but they had a couple of feeble attempts at originals that just dragged on and on and on and on!
Then, I moved on to more urban mountain biking. As I was wandering around aimlessly, I ran into a friend from work that offered to smoke me out. I needed a breather, so I followed him to his apt a few blocks away. He lives in these really old apts that are stationed behind this church that sits at the fountain. The fountain is basically the heart of 5-points south. ANyway, we go and smoke and we talked for awhile and he bursts out with, "Hey man, you wanna get on the roof?". I was astounded! I have lived and partied around this building for most of my life and never knew that there was roof access! We had to ride the elevator to the top floor and go to the end of this residential hallway to this window at the end of the hall. There was this window that you couldn't see out of and we had to climb out of the window into this ricketty old fire escape that was like a chimney flue up the side of the building. It was kinda scary, but adventurous at the same time. We spent about 30 minutes just exploring the whole roof and watched the people milling about the city. It was really wild. I started getting a weird feeling, so I decided to jet after thanking my host for an excellent adventure.
I rode around until about 3am and decided to take it to the house. I got home and listened to Monster Magnet's 25...Tab album, which is lsd made into musically. Anybody that's never listened to this album while tripping, I would highly suggest it! After that, I watched this crazy horror movie called Session 9. It had Horatio from CSI Miami and a couple of other 'those guys' actors that I couldn't name. That movie was pretty whack, but fairly good and creepy.
Anyway, 1 1/2 hits of this blotter had me having insane visuals from 10pm to around 5am. Simply amazing! I still have 4 1/2 left, too!
