hello my friends:-) one more question for you: when my shroom will be in the fruiting period they'll need light but unfortunately i cant get them out of the closet cuz i dont live alone(dont want my father to see 'em, he may eat them all!!!). so can i put the perlite and cakes in a terrarium which will not be clear but it will have a light blub in it? if yes how much watt etc etc(how far away from the cakes should the bulb be?)?

They do not need that much light. They are not a plant. They need minimal lighting. The only reason they need any light at all is to control the direction they grow in.

wait you didnt understand what i said:-) i will keep em in a big closet, so they won't have light!!! no light at all!! so i must give them light with a light bulb! right? so now i think you can answer my questions:-)

what Eternal is saying is u hardly need any light go buy a night lite and it will do find no need for a reg light bulb run a bullshit extension cord and put the night light ontop of the lid of the chamber . is your lid clear

no.the terrarium is not clear, and it's lid is NOT clear. thats why i want a light source:-) (but i cant expose it to indirect sun in my room cuz i dont want my father to see them! so wtf can i do?

cut a hole in the top of your lid and use some sort of plastic and tape it down real good use duct tape or sutmtin then put the nite lite shinning through that u can even use a cd case jus file the edgea down so its flat and dont have a lip on it

Dont worry, i speak english perfectly, and it took me like 4 reads of that to tell what he was saying, he says to use the clear plastic part of a jewel cd case, file down the edges so its a perfect squar plane, and then cut a similar sized hold in the lid of your terrarium and tape the plastic sqare over the hole in the lid.
