Is the jar sitting on the lid while incubating?

Hey,

When you are incubating do you have the jar sitting on the lid or on the glass bottom? Then how do you birth it? What side of the cake goes up while fruiting?

you would have it on the glass bottom in the incubator.
til you flip it....you flip the jar to get the CO2 out.

you would have the Verm side down.....in the fruiting chamber.
