Here i am in tahoe. Its been over a month since i started this great vacation. I have managed to seclude myself here in a cabin in the forest!! Right under the huge and imposing mount tallac on the south shore. Ive been up here all alone and its been wonderful. When the snow finally arrived on thursday I shroomed right here in the white forest under 2 feet of blissful new snow.
Its been a while since i've visited the shroomery i guess i needed a little reminder.
This cabin is so remote they close the road in the winter and i have to park by the main route and hike in about .6 mi. Its great cause its not like i have to be anywhere in a hurry! Now with this blizzard the snow has reached knee level, and im 6'3. I went for a walk a couple hours ago with some dig your own hole as the soundtrack. If you have ever walked a mile in snow up to your knees you know its crazyness. I took a bunch of pictures and the siberianess of it all made getting back inside a true pleasure! which is what i needed, having been inside all day.
I came up with a new recipe here i will share with you.
I am running out of food and its quite a drive to town so i go a little hybrid style.

this is what i have left in the fridge: some newmans own balsamic vinaigrette dressing, 6 asparagus, Parmesan cheese, margarine, and an empty jar of calamata olives - except for some of the juice still in there.
So if you like go ahead and cook the asparagus in a frying pan with the butter and later add some dressing and the olive juice. once the pasta is done dump all the asparagus and dressings and parmesan onto the spaghetti and voila you are that much closer to cleaning out your fridge. And its delicious too. Don't forget the cabernet, either.

yeah rt 89 by squaw is getting slammed i keep checking the nextrad. they close 89 by me whenever it snows (NOW THAT THE SNOW HAS FINALLY COME!).
Holding up well here the power hasn't gone out like last night so im sitting here recording some music.

hey death you know someone that was @squaw and wants to leave? its time to extend the vacay you know? call in sick or something. shit i cant even get to squaw with the snow. i have to go to heavenly. resorts were barely operating today well see morrow morning

no don't know anybody up there sqauws not really my place, i was going to go up to sierra(just down the rode from where your at) but the traffic ain't looking pretty so plans are canceled.

finally getting some snow ey
i spent around 3 months snow camping on the west shore if u can believe it
waking up in a tent surrounded by like 4 feet of powder,boot packing through the woods to get to the upper mountain of homewood where they didnt check passes, interesting times, look for the six packs of sierra nevada bigfoot barleywine, it is finally out, great beer goes well with the snow and shrooms
