never heard of any of them. different strokes for different folks i guess. But Talamasca and Ap certainly are not among the worst of psy thats just rediculous seeing as they actually sell albums ( a feat which might be damn near impossible for the majority of psy artists). its not to say they are the best and most progressive producers right now but they do have some tracks which are absolutely classic. I mean have you heard "aurora borealis" or
"free tibet?". some of the most unique psy elements yet. i'll admit talamasca's last CD i think it was the zodiac one, was not that good but their live sets are excellent, just find a torrent. if you look at the Aumfest lineup request thread on the tribe site, astral projection has been asked to play more than anybody else, even IM.

Astral projection is so big because they've been around since the early 90's. They contributed a lot to goa trance scene. A lot of the newer artist have hella potential but are still not as known unless your really into the scene. AP old stuff is awesome, but now their new tracks sound like a lot of main stream full-on artist IMO. Im not gonna lie though, I had one hell of a time when I saw them perform tracks from their Ten release.

Infected have made one good album and their other albums are so bad they cancel it out many times over. Ott is fucking fantastic but he makes dub not trance. Can't wait for his new record though...

they get played quite often on Philosomatika a free internet radio station that plays the best in psytrance. http://di.fm has a good psytrance station too for free.

Derango is sick as. Hopefully I will get to see him this summer. There should be a torrent up on OiNK and if you've found a Sanaton Records compilation with one of his tracks on it you won't be disappointed...
