I can understand the related topics feature when posting a new thread, but why when you are doing a reply? Most users replying already have the knowledge and are writing it out themselves and wouldn't need something like this. It's annoying to have to click through 3 menu's slowly on dialup just to do a reply...

What are you referring to? I click the "Reply" link to reply to this post of yours and it does not show related threads, only a copy of the post to which I am replying.

It shows related threads when you are viewing a thread, and it doesn't make sense to have it showing when replying to a thread or creating a new one.

If you are referring to quick reply that is there for your convience; it appears when you are viewing a thread. The related threads box shows so that, as you are reading a thread, if you seek to read more threads that involve similar topics, then you can access them easily. If you do not wish to view the Related Threads box while replying, then do not use the quick reply feature and instead click the Reply link next to the post you wish to reply to.

Also, upgrade from dialup if at all possible. :wink:
