25 gauge syringe needle - too small?

Hey everyone
Went into the local needle exchange today to get some syringes and needles. (Yeah, they thought I was a junkie, hehehe) And the biggest they had was 21 gauge, but I ended up getting 25 gauge needles cause they were slightly longer (1.5 in). Can the spores still be sucked through a 25 gauge needle?
I did get one 16 gauge 'Cathater' needle but it was 2 bucks and they were all sketched out about sellin it to me, as if I'm gonna shoot up a massive dose of heroin or something .
So anyway, is 25 gauge ok, or should I go for some more 16 gauges?

Hmm...
As far I know an 18G is the standard to use. I don?t know how small 25G is.

hey peace... go to a vet and tell him you need to inject your cows......

its the easiest way to get needles 18G and 10cc syringes.....

i got 2 sets for about 5 bucks....

go to the local feed store...they should have 10 and 20 cc syringes. the syringes I got from the feed store cost 1.25 (20 CC) and the 18 Ga. needles were 25 cents total cost 1.50 for the needle and syringe.

Stick to a feed or farm supply store. Syringe tips cost .40 cents or less. Use the 18 gauge for multispore, and 14 gauge for liquid culture mycellium.
