is it true that amsterdam smart shops carry peyote? is it served liquid or cactus or what? any recommendations for especially good smart shops to check out?

They are live Peyote plants and fairly expensive. Expect to spend over a $100 for 3 of 4 buttons. There are a lot of good smart shops around Amsterdam as well as other cities. One of my favorites was Conscious Dreams, but I scarcely remember whether it was just because of the cool name. Irregardless, there are several shops by this name around THE city.

You would indeed spent around 100 euro's on peyote if you want amount that you can trip on. San pedro is a little bit cheaper.
Most shops in amsterdam are really expensive.
Mushrooms are ok do. They give you a 30 gr wet (cubensis) for around 15 euro. Bigger amounts get cheaper. If its your first time to do mushrooms i don;t recomment taking a full portion. Split it. A strange town is not the place to get an anciety attack.

about the mescaline, def. expect to pay a pretty penny if you can actually find it. i didnt hear or see anything about mescaline when i was in amsterdam, but i only got to hang out for a few hours on layover. honestly, im not even sure if mescaline is legal there. i know they have cactus. i would be kind of surprised if they sold buttons there.

SHROOMS however arent too expensive. i think about $30 to $40 (/1.3 to convert so euros) for about 30 grams fresh give or take (which is about 3 grams dried). i hear from some reviews on the site not to eat the whole pack if they're strong.

there are two smart shops that you can look up on the interweb, there's even a map to help you plan your route. conscious dreams and magic mushroom gallery. i didnt get to check out either, but a friend went to magic mushroom gallery and said it was awesome. get any cyan strain (i think they're the hawaiians and/or mexicans)

and dont forget to smoke your weight in amsterdam reefer! waita minute...are you going there?

they do sell peyote everywhere in the smartshops. You can even find them on the flower market (typical tourist thing, prices are cheaper, look for the marketstands filled with cacti, they will have them). Mescaline itself is illegal but plants can;t be outlawed. Peyote is not an addictive substance and way to expensive to do daily.

Since Peyote is endangered, I'd advise against purchasing it. This cactus needs to be protected against that sort of commercialist harvesting, unless they grow it themselves... Stick with Pedro or Torch...

Im sure these are buttons that were originally offshoots from grafts... They are not collected in TXMX, just relatively weak, highly ornamental buttons, but the specific variety is sometimes questionable.
