Less than an hour before the show starts. Who are your picks for tonights fights?

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

I pick all the guys who appear that they will obviously win.

If you haven't heard yet Lutter didn't make weight and it's not a title fight.

Are they still allowing them to fight though? If I don't get to see the Silva fight I'm going to be pissed.

I agree with all except for Lutter. Silva will be victorious.

Yeah but they're doing a 3 round non title fight. Lutter couldn't lose 2 pounds in 2 hours.

Watching crocop fight that guy was like being at the coliseum watching a lion circling some poor bastard.

Rather boring event. The undercard was more entertaining than the main fights.

agreed.

My biggest interest going into this ppv was just to watch what is basically a historic, momentous shift in talent back into the UFC.

What we're witnessing here, is what may very well be the beginning of a golden era in MMA.

Pride and the UFC are exchanging and interacting at a level never seen before. After the cro-cop fight there were 2 Pride officials in the octagon.

Big things to come.

HAhahah Eddie Sanchez looked scared as shit against Cro-Cop. It was like Cro-Cop had cooties or something.

Poor bastard never stood a chance.

Yeah I see big things coming for the UFC this year. Hopefully they do something about the lightweight division.

Dude...i LOVE the lightweight division.

THey've managed to grab so many great fighters within a short period of time.

Hmmm...

Melvin Guillard
Sean Sherk
Yves Edwards
Jens Pulver
Joe Stevenson
Duane Ludwig
Joe Lauzon
Tyson Griffin

etc.

I agree there's potential, but they aren't putting together good fights.  The Tyson/Frankie fight was entertaining.  Watching Pulver get beat up by some nobody wasn't

And Sean Sherk as the champion? Come on he couldn't cut it at welterweight so he drops down and instantly gets the title? Lame.
