Capital Punishment -- pick the method of your execution

Suppose - the Unreasonable Fundamentalist Party steals the elections in your country and the first thing they do is reinstate capital punishment.

Because a capital punishment is only as good as the number of people to die by it, the UFP rounds up 10.000 people to be executed, and you are one of them.

They decided to use a dozen methods of capital punishment contemporary and historic, and allow each convict the choice of how to go.

Which of the capital punishment methods would you choose for yourself?
all these methods have historically been used as a means of formal execution.

This poll is much better, I could not leave out the firing squad, the 1000ft drop and the opt-out, and the public/private matter was important because there are only a few capital punishment consumer polls out there :frown:

My choices:

--blown up with high explosives
--private, but with cellphone vid leaked to the internet

the kaboom option seems the most humane, and perhaps the vid will help in abolishing capital punishment.

That's a tough one.
I always say when I die I want it to be something unique. Something that will be talked/written about. I think I would go with:

1 burnt at the stake - public
2 Hanging - public
3 Crucifix - Public

I would like to have a message and go out w/ dignity, no screaming, crying, begging for my life. 1 and 3 would obviously be the hardest to maintain my dignity with but I think lots of saints went this way.

It'd be like flying until you landed. Public, just because. Maybe sell tickets and give the money to my surviving family or charity or something.

I chose 'sledgehammer execution by the next in line in private'. Simply because I've never heard of this method. Also, because drawing and quartering wasn't on the list. There's just something very brutal about killing someone with a sledgehammer then having the same thing done to you a few minutes later.
