whats the safest way to get these annoying stickers off the pickgaurd?

What kind of sticker are they?

I'd dab a little rubbing alcohol on them and rub them off.

gah- it just makes me so mad.

i pay $1,000 for a guitar and it comes with stickers saying NEW, BETTER PLAYING GUITAR!!! and advertising their brand...

i wouldn't be buying your damn $1,000 guitar if i didn't know what it was.. sigh

That's a really nice strat, correct?

Mine was like 450. Shitty pickups, but overall she's nice for me.

I play a les paul personally. I love the scale of the neck. it has two humbucker pickups that will really rock.

I played guitars that felt better in my hands than a strat, but I couldn't rationalize spending the extra money on something I wasn't sure I would like. If I keep this up for a while, I would like to get something a little different. The one I liked the best was a 67 stratocaster (I think). The owner had always played one, and had one painted on his wall. When he played it ( I can't ), it was heavenly. :smile:

What does a nice Les Paul run for?

a standard gibson les paul can go anywhere from $1,300- god knows how much (thats new of course). the one my uncle gave me from his collection (50 neck les paul black/offwhite pickgaurd) runs about $1,900 new.

and yeah, i got an american strat, if yours was 450 it was probably a mexican
