Here in Richmond, VA there's several different groups who have taken up weird graffiti-like practices that have left authorities wondering how they can arrest people for this stuff.

One group knits things. Like covers for parking meters. You'll drive down a city block and every parking meter has a pretty little knit wool cover on it. strange shit.

Another group plants big, intricate gardens overnight either on public or private land. Usually in one of the dirty "parks" where homeless folks gather.

I still prefer the ol' paint can and a freight train, myself.

I would think they could be busted on littering or something.

I like the graffiti w/ positive messages or the ones that are actually art. This reverse graffiti is a great idea it's actually making the place look better, it's telling an important message, and if someone does use it as a negative it's easily erasable.
