My pet cat's been missing a couple weeks now.

Well I'm pretty pissed off and depressed about this. Here's the story:

About two years ago my roommates fucked me over and moved to montana out of the fucking blue, and jewed me over, so I was forced to move back home with my parents. Unfortunately, I had a pet cat while living on my own, and my mother is very allergic.

So I entrusted the Dasa (the name of my cat) to some of my parents friends.

Dasa's been missing a couple weeks now. Just today I get "Oh yeah, your cat's missing."

WHAT THE FUCK?!

I'm really pissed about this, not only because I loved my cat, but it's a very expensive cat. When I was living at the apartment, kitty got out and neighborhood kids caught him and broke his leg, a nice spiral fracture in the humerus. 1200 bucks and almost had to sell my car to fix kitty up.

Now he's probably run over or eaten by a coyote. Fuck. I hate this place, I really do.

i've been there, that's why i dont have pets anymore, they dont outlive me, maybe a parrot would.

Not to seem like an insensitive jerk, but its a cat...no big loss. Get another cat. You'll love it just as much.

No offense, but it's just a kid, if he gets hit by a bus, you can just get another one.

Sometimes, My cat has been gone for weeks then he will show back up.

No big loss, fuck that, especially not knowing what happened.

My cat smokey disappeared and it still pisses me off to this day that I DONT KNOW what happened. I would rather know he is dead then to just be left wondering.

And if this was a thread about a dog would you say the same thing??

People get attached to these special creatures, why would it not hurt to lose them??? Maybe to you its not a big loss, but I can see why this would eat someone up. I THINK I have detected something about you...... You dont like cats much, and maybe not dogs either, but surely if you do like dogs, you like them more then cats(I would assume)

How many parent's would go: "Oops, sorry my living situation isn't compatible with you anymore....I'll just give you away".

If that were the case, I'd hold the parent responsible.

To me my cat is like my child. I was working on moving out and going to get him back (as they were just going to hold onto him until I could be properly situated).

I just keep getting screwed over on roommates.

And I don't want another cat, I want Dasa. Cats have personalities, and Dasa was very different from any other cat I knew. That cat knew when I was down, when I was happy, etc. I remember rubbing forheads against his. Hehe cats like to rub their heads on stuff.

Emotional attachment is SUBJECTIVE :wink:

I can think of only one child I truly enjoy the company of, and plenty of cats and  dogs that I love.

You couldn't be more wrong. It may just be a cat to you, but to alot of us our pets are so much more. My cat died back in November, it was an incredibly hard time for me. It was like losing a child. It is a very big loss, and you cannot just get a new replacement.

I'm sure to many people pets are just disposable objects that are kind of neat to have. If it was up to me these people would not be allowed to have pets.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat though, and I hope it turns up in good health.

Its basically when you rip someome off, or fuck someone over, its the same thing.

I felt a little silly being critical of what adrug said after reading that part, but I love my cats so much, I made my points anyway...

When I was younger(grade 8) my friends older brother got us all saying that, it just sort of caught on("dont jew me"..."you got jewed" etc), and as the years passed, I cam to see how fucking stupid it was, and it really disgusted me when I noticed myself or friends using it. :nonono:

I have always been VERY VERY critical of Israel, but when people around me (that I care about) say that these days(and almost no on does) I point out how fucking stupid it is, because regardless of the actions of Israel, Jews don't deserve to be mocked like that, it just feeds a brain dead negative stereotype.

Try to think positive, though I know it's hard. There's a pretty decent chance that someone found her and either took her in, or took her to the local SPCA. I'd check out the SPCA if you haven't already, and periodically call back.....have them keep a lookout for you. Do you have pictures or anything? Put up missing signs all over the area, using pictures if you have 'em, and a description if you don't, and go look yourself as often as you can. I hope you find your Dasa, good luck brother! :hug:

My brother and I were adopted, he's a jew.  He makes fun of me and calls me a mexican because I'm native american.  Actually he calls me a spick.  So whenever I refer to things about him, it's jew.  I guess that's how we get along...



I had the chip implanted for identification but that doesn't do much for tracking. :frown:
