UK up in arms at racist guttersnipe on TV

reality TV crap - horrible pap but this time it's front page news globally, and has caused an international diplomatic stain. British prime minister apologising to Indian prime minister, that sort of thing. big news over here right now, i'm watching it on TV after Ugly Betty, in 40 mins Jade's getting evicted.

she's public enemy number one - the police is gonna whisk her off to a safehouse for a week or so to stop her getting shot when she leaves the house.

a classic example of the public turning on it's former darling, and not before time in this case. she's famous and has made millions for being ignorant, vacuous, uncultured, rude, crass and entirely without any insight. pure asbo trash in other words, an insult to those of us who would rather celebrate wisdom, intelligence, open-mindedness, culture...... rater than it's antithesis.

god i remember her when she was on regular big brother...but i'm not sure what to think about this racism shit, it's just a bunch of stupid chavs saying this crap who don't have a brain..people should realize that :P

she's out now and it's starting to sink in that her 'career' in public has just turned the chapter.

i think she'll survive it, but it's gonna be hard. for some reason, i still feel sorry for her - she is what her parents made of her, the fingerprints in the clay of Jade are the fingerprints of human detritus, but still part of the mix. and i celebrate the diversity of that mix.
