Can i stop a plant from flowering?

If a northern lights that is about 1 foot in height started flowering because it wasn't under the proper lights for a couple days, is it possible to stick it back in 24/0 lighting and bring it back to the vegetative state?

Im not 100% sure it is flowering, but your help is still appreciated.

Messing with the light cycles can produce hemaphrodites tis how you get an all female closet to seed.But yes back under 24 will go back to veg just make sure it stays there for at least 2 weeks or expect some nuts to drop on SWIYs female.

yes you can.sometimes the leaves get kinda twisted looking but it will
go back to veg.
Some people say it makes them hermi. but my buddy hasn't ever had it
happen.He has even harvested them and then reveged the same plant with
no problems. :bigblunt:

Can't you pick off the fowers so it will go back to growing.

Yep the hermie thing is quite selective but it can easily happen being an ass with the flower cycles,I have to look it up but I think it's 12/12 one day 18/6 rotating to get it every time.

It will be fine just give it time to do it's thing and revert to veg. This can take 2 to 6 weeks depending on strain.

Ok, now fucking with the light cycles will get ya male flowers but that is not how you make female seeds. In fact when doing female seeds I do this to see which will bust out the male flowers first then get rid of those. Then treat the ones that hold out the longest to make female seeds with. The ones that hold out the longest will be the least likely to produce hermie seeds rather then female ones.

This is the major flaw with Soma's female seeds and why he get so many people complaning about hermies but if I give ya the details why it will just boar ya.

light cycle hermies are selective by breed. some strains are more resistant than others and some are just prone to herming out when messed with.

how many people are fans of female seeds. personally I'm not a fan, call me "old school" but i'de rather weed out the males and select a breeder male.

Hey I'm with ya on that but with so many so called "clone only strains" the female seed thing can come in handy (even though we all know most "clone only strains" are just renamed work of others) to keep them pure.

Example: Big Bud was a California strain that a cutting or clone of made it to Holland. Now how are companies selling Big Bud seeds now if it was only one clone. By crossing to some other strain then crossing those seeds back to the original mother and then do it again and so on till you get genetics that are close to the original mother.
The problem, they never are like the original mother but they never mention that to us in the strain descriptions do they?  :wink:

Problem with female seeds, nobody can guarantee you won't get a higher rate of hermies then regular seeds and you usually do. Certain methods of doing the female seeds tend to give higher rates of hermies then others but none are foolproof.  :stoned:
