thats is very beautifull. great flowers.

noticed it was a graft, how old? if its flowering is that a sign that it would be mature enough?

that one is sure a keeper.

I think it was grafted four years ago as a small button (1 cm). This is the third year it's flowering. Last year it produced more than 20 flowers in total. This year it will be less, probably because the weather sucks....

None, because it's not self-pollinating and the only one flowering at the moment...

Ok I see,

do you know the average number of seeds that a peyote flower produces ?

here's a probable Pilosocereus sp.

very cool hermes, by the flowers looks it really seems to be a pilosocereus... but which one? i've never seen this one do you have an idea of where is it from?
i have a large p. azureus, they need a match to produce seeds...

The peyote is grafted to Myrtillocactus geometrizans. I discovered a fruit today. I pollinated one flower a few weeks ago with the pollen from another flowering plant. Although small it looks really yummy!  :crazy2:
