Awesome chamber! The metal baskets that slide out like shelves are classic =) The LEDs would be more energy efficient than floros too! they also look freakin sweet  :cool:

question... do you leave the LED's on 24/7 or do you turn them off so the shrooms can have some "dark time"

thanks man but this is my second grow ever and it worked. by the way light is the last thing involved in "bigger and better flushes" and i already stated that my substrate wasn't deep enough. I'm glad you had something to say but pictures tell the story buddy.

good job.

i just bought a little fluorescent light that uses 4 AA batteries and i choose it over a blue LED that used 4 AA batteries...im going back for the LED now.

i like the way looks with the blue light and the shrooms growing...you should make a nice background with that.

right on. the place i got the blue LED's also have UV LED's so i think i'm gonna come up on those also just so i have both of the most reactive spectrums

i already harvested and i had to borrow a camera to get the pics i have but thats nothing compared to what i will have in about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks when the casings i did yesterday colonize and start to pin. for some reason Z-strain colonizes hella crazy fast so it might be sooner. i'll post those pics also when i have them.

seriously though... my newbie skills got me this far in three months so i don't want to hear any excuses. if anyone wants to get good at this hobby all you have to do is try and try again. thanks to the shroomery for all of the readily available information and thanks to its helpful members. this hasn't been easy by any means but i stuck with it. this hobby can pay for itself if you know what to do, when, and how to do it efficiently.

Second flush has started and is almost done but i don't have a camera at the moment. i plan on gettin pics when my next 2 casings start fruiting which should be within the next couple weeks.

they are from a under car lighting kit. i got 3 of them cuz they come on strings of 10. i taped them to two plastic clothes hangers that i zip tied together and cut and spliced to remove excess wire. i spliced all three to a 12v 18 watt transformer and i haven't hade a problem yet with it.

how big are the bulbs on the lights? do your parents know about this? i want to add a couple blue LED lights to my small grow but im not sure how to wire it all up. im only going to have 4 rechargable DD batteries powering them though.

well i don't have to worry bout the parents no more. got my own place. there is only one led in each dome. the 1 1/4" dome spreads the light. i got the lights for about $100 shipped but all the savings is in the power bill and bulky lights take up too much space for me. incase n-e-1 wants some this is where i got em.
