Marijuana or Psilocybin Mushrooms--Which is better, *overall*? For example, if you were stranded on an island, and could only choose one of these two substances, which would you choose? Why?

Apples and oranges really... Depends on what kind of person you are. If you just want to hang out and chill then get some weed, if your more into psychedelics and self-exploration then shrooms.

If I could only choose one substance on an abandoned island I'd probably end up bringing mj, simply because I could grow more of it in that lush tropical environment.

Mushrooms. I dont think they could ever get old. And if they do, up the dose. Marijuana would get you lazy and unmotivated, youde go nowhere real fast.

I go for shrooms to, don't take me wrong I enjoy MJ but it gets old very fast and the teachings I get from MJ are very ambiguous, like anything that you think with MJ goes in the moment.
But shrooms, well is a ticket to eternity.

Shrooms !!!
They would allow me to really understand/feel that life is beautiful.
And the beauty around would be wasted with mj. Mj is vicious because you are able to think/move but you don't want to, while with shrooms, you know that you escape common life for a short period. At the end, you can have a "busier"/more interesting life with shrooms than with mj.
That's my opinion.

I cant do mushrooms more then once every 2-4 weeks. And i do love weed. So with out a doubt go with marijuana.

acid, of course. if i were stranded in an island i don't think I'd have good mushie trips, knowing that I most likely will never return to my house. acid doesn't depend on the situation as much for me, i'll have fun no matter what

Makes a lot of sense to me.

As for my pick, I'd have to say Mary Jane. When I do shrooms, I do it to get blown out of my mind and get completely fucked. If I do them everyday, that doesn't happen. I try to do them once every two weeks or so. Weed does get softer as your tolerance builds, but it still gets you high.
