I wish things were different but I understand your problem and hope things get better for you soon. You have helped many people and while it seems that the good deeds are the ones that come back to bite you on the ass, karma has a way of working things out in the end. I am recently new to this whole mycology thing, and very new to the shroomery. People like you are few and far between. I am sorry for all the assholes that fucked the FSR. Wish i could do something.

Today is a sad day. I'm really sorry to hear of your misfortunes
and hope things turn around for you soon.
I think the FSR is / was a truly noble cause. I never ordered a
FSR print. I have donated some. I wish more people had.
I have given some prints to several people with the agreement
that they donate to the FSR. To those of you,(you know who
you are), I would ask that you still send some prints to Ralph
to help recoup some of his losses.
If I had an extra girlfriend, I'd send her to ya Ralph. Maybe we
should start the Free Whore Ring. Sorry, bad joke but I couldn't
pass it up.
I hope things turn around for ya man. Charge $3 next time.
The price / value of spores just went up.

Ralph Bad day in Blackrock buddy.
I haven't been here very long and haven't posted much but I have done a tremendous amount of reading. One thing I can say for sure is there are only a handful of people here that are truely in it for the hobby. I can say beyond any doubt Ralph you are one of the best. I've read about your good times - some of those beautiful pictures of your crop and bad times - so much unnessary flaming. Through all this you form an opinion of the people here, and Ralph, from the heart, you are one of the most giving people I have gotten to know here at the Shroomery. You have given your time, money and knowledge and Ralph let me assure you it all comes around. Somewhere you will get your paybck, just like the spore whores will get theirs. (Noticed the website was down earlier today). Karma owes you a couple, hope you get all the good Karma you can stand soon - you deserve it.
I'm trying to say something to make this all seem right, but I guess that's not possible. All I can say is thanks for the two spore prints you sent me. I haven't learned to make a decent print yet, but when I do I will spread the spores to some new guy, and I'll make sure he knows what you tried to do and how greed fucked it up.
If there is anything I can do to help take the load off you and keep the FSR going I'll be glad to volunteer. I owe you Ralph.

I'm new to the world of mycology cultivation and was looking for a place to buy some spores. I'm sorry to hear your news and I'm wondering if any of the vendors I'm looking at are some of the pricks that contributed to the FSR's downfall. Not wanting to patronize any of them, can anyone recommend a reputable vendor that will actually ship stuff to CA?

just got off work, and this blows me away bud. as i have been saying, i saw no good coming from the spore whores, but i was thinking contams, ripped of monies, months for delivery. i never thought about the fsr being grinded to a halt, and this sux man. im not saying because you shut it down, but because you HAD to shut it down. if you left because you just didnt wanna fuck with it, would be a different story, we couldnt argue with you about having a life outside of the fsr. but having greed shut you down, is just not right, not after what you've contributed. i can only imagine the man hours you put into the fsr, not to mention personal prints. seems like everyone here is only worried about making a buck, they dont give a fuck about other shroomers, or the ART of cultivation... im sorry, but if you can grow shrooms out of a little rice flour and shit, its not a hobby, its an art... i hate to see you go man, you have all of my respect...hopefully, things will get better from here, for you, and the shroomery.
