I hate when people talk about this game... Its so retarded. like 3 of my friends play this/played this at one point and constantly talk about it and its terrible. There like "im a dwarf priest in my guild"


I mean stfu. no one knows what that means.


I never played this game, but i really hope it goes out of business or something....


Anyone else know people who do the same?

there are a couple of us that play... im not addicted by any means.. but ill play every other day for a couple hours..

good for killing time with a nice buzz.

it is everyone's dirty little secret. i was smoking some weed with my friend who was back from school the other day and he whipped out his laptop and started to play. he the proceeded to tell me that i should play and all that. so, come to find out, i know about 6 other people who play. it is crazy.

It's fun, trippy as hell to play when you're high too. If anyone has been to Ahn'Qiraj they know what I'm talking about. Good place to escape when you're stressed out.

Definitely. I have a 60 undead mage, assuming the chars haven't been deleted (acct is canceled). This fucking thread is making me want to re-activate and re-install but eh... I should resist. I just need a good game to play casually. Done the hardcore wow thing, I'd be down for occasional playing, slowly leveling and enjoying the low-end pvp again.

WoW is all right, but got to level 32 and just got bored. I dont have the time/patience anymore to play MMORPGs. My attention span for games in general is about ~1hr installment, some times 2 if I /really/ get into it. And while you can play WoW in 1-2hr chunks of time, chances are you'll be soloing, and soloing is boring as fuck.

I used to be hooked on the 1st round of MMOPRGs

- Ultima Online : I still LOVE this game, or well - the memory of it, OSI has butchered it. But I still consider it my favorite MMORPG. Played it for a few years

- EverQuest - this was my crack in high school. I'd play for atleast 4 hours a day ever day, and a few times would do 12 hours day. I was in one of the top guilds in the game (Afterlife), and it got me hooked on the uberguild/powergaming thing.

- Dark Age of Camelot : played it for a number of the betas, hell - even got my name in the manual under 'beta thanks' :P and a few months into retail, lots of fun but I just burned myself out on it. I got so many characters to the 'current level cap' in beta, that by time retail came out I was getting restless.

For me to play a MMORPG now, I cant enjoy it 'casually', and dont have the time/patience to invest into the top-end game, so I just dont bother.

Hah. Afterlife. I remember that shit. I was in one of the second wave of uber guilds (one that had all the server firsts etc blah blah). I still remember pulling AoW and surviving two of his quad hits (as a monk). 5 dodges, 2 blocks and one hit. Then a FD and a rofl. Back when the avatar was all badass seeming too, hell he's probably a noobie farm quest now. :frown:

wtf? why would u want to kill ur life, just kill yourself if u need to kill so many hours. If i was killing 3-4 hrs a day, i dont think it would make much sense to live.

why dont you think of something to do and do it instead of just playing a game cuz u cant think of anything or are unmotivated.

that is so rediculous, ur just zoning out on a dumb ass game thats not even intricate, it doesnt require use of brain at all and u waste ur life iwth it.

i mean its fine to play a game, but saying it good for killing time...that is just sooo dumb. Ur wasting away your brain. You know when you zone out and dont think, ur becoming dumber constantly. The more u like to zone out and just sit u become a vegetable. When u sit around do something brain using.

for fucks sake alteast play a game that makes u think more then "i cant wait till i get that sweet weapon" Play like a strategy game, warcraft 3 starcraft. Youl have to think ALOT on how to win, not about how once u kill 5000 more men ul get a cool weapon probably.

there arent really any good new smart games, except maybe supremecommander beta, and game is comming out soon. But any stragegy game, even a 3d shooter is more brain use then playing wow..

why do you think there are bots that can play the game for you? CUz it takes no skill a friken computer program can do which was made by some random geeks.
