Home built mag stirer question

Ok so if you put a magnet on a computer fan to use as a stirer, won't the magnet mess with the fan?

Now before you answer this question bear in mind their are many different magnets of different strength.

So my question is a broad one. If you put a really powerful magnet on a fan would it not mess with the electric engine on the fan because im pretty sure their are magnets inside the fans?



P.S. Is a really strong magnet better or worse for a stirer? I can get them really cheap so i thought i would just get a strong one with 16lbs of pull (its about the size of a penny)

i need some of that.
I made 2 magnetic stirrers on comp fans
they worked fine

problem is I couldnt get something
that was acting asa magnetic stirrer
its the metal sticklike thing inside the liquid that spins like a propeller yougotta cover it up nice and proper...
you know what a stirrer is dont you?

if you dont cover it it might rust you know.
but I guess its just gotta be long enough thickand heavy enough to really be at one with the spinnin magnets u kno

i have to find those damn fans
theyre lost in the house they worked fine
and start growin again fluck!
its just i didnt makea stirbar i didnt realise then that itshould be sort of anelongated metallic thing that spinslike a propeller
i added ballberrings.
ballbearings don work
