Grateful Dead can be very psychedelic at times, I personally believe that some of the songs can only be enjoyed when tripping because they were written for the psychedelic experience.  If that makes sense.

So before you say you truly don't like grateful dead, I suggest re-examining them in a different state of mind.  We all know how powerful psychedelics are.

Anyone experience that before?  New meaning to music, that gives you a completely new outlook on a band you never really listened to before?

Pink Floyd is really the music I'd rather be listening to for psychedelic rock. I can hear it's feeling and sadness and joy. I just can't feel anything from the dead.... except people jamming.
