Well, since my first grows in the start of the double/mono tub generation, I have come alot way as in greatly cleaing up my grow setup and process. This is just a straight verm substrate, cased with 50/50.

Grain prep:

Take a large pot. Add 2qts of wheat grains. Then add 3qts of tap water. Don't worry about anything floating at this point. Mix up the grains for a few seconds then let them sit. Come back after 12 hours, drain the water, add 3 more qts and come back in 12 hours. With the water that is in the pot, SLOWLY bring your pot to a pre-simmer. Do not leave the pot. On medium light heat, stir your grains every min or two. You want the water to just start to bubble. Check your grains in the palm of your hand (don't burn yourself...) The wheat berry will start to have a translucent texture, once that starts to happen, turn off the heat.





Drain, rinse with cold water for about 3 min. Toss the grains like your tossing a garden salad. Let them drain over the sink for 20-30min. Come back every 10 min and toss them end over end. With a spoon load the jars 60-70% full. Put on lid with polyfil and cover with foil. Add enough water in your PC for it to run 90 min at 15PSI. Make sure once you get to 15PSI you turn your heat DOWN to medium/medium high (any low temp that will keep 15psi...) After 90 min, use a towel and remove jars. They will be hot but they need a good shaking at this point. Then place back in the PC and let cool 4-6 hours.

Normal inoculation steps. Lysol area, innoc through the polyfil 2-3 CC spores each jar and put in the dark for a few days. Once they are 100% colonized, prepare 8qts of vermiculite in two turkey pans. Feed the verm all the water it will drink, you want it to drip out of your fist when one is made. Put verm in oven at 185 for 2 hours. Let cool 6-8 hours in oven.

Thats because I said on the preview it showed it would be wrong. I didn't save because I didn't want to mess that log up.
