New Gradient BB Tag

You can now add cool gradient effects to your posts. To do so, just click the 'Gradient' link under the Font Color selector, pick two colors you want to fade between (like red and orange) and click 'Done'. Then enter your text between the gradient tags which were inserted into your message.

I hope people like this new feature but please resist the temptation to apply the gradient effect to an entire post. It adds a lot of extra HTML tags, and the longer the message is the more complicated it becomes once it's 'gradiantized'. For this reason, there's a 100 character limit on gradients. If you try to make one that's longer, it simply won't convert.

The whole funky name thing could get -very- annoying if it caught on. Which i'm sure it would.

I sorta liked the way that mods were indicated by different colors.  But a lotta colors are hard to read against certain BG's.

But hey, the majority votes the other way...so whatever.  Just think about it first ppl.

So you give the mods gradient names? :lol: If you can handle them and whole body text in gradient then usernames shouldn't be a problem :thumbup:
