Ok, here are a couple pics. Though I am not able to do all the assembly steps (drilling) because of the time, I took these to give a general idea. I should be able to have the complete step by step with photos by the middle of next week.

Yeah, I have been looking everywhere for a top like that also. Did you find that at Home Depot also? I saw one almost similar in the skylight section, but you had to buy the whole skylight kit to get it.

Thanks!! Tonight I picked up some weather stripping like you use for your car, I will use that to create a nice seal between the dome and bucket. Plus I am thinking of adding a micron magic filter at the top to let out stale air. Everyday I think of something to do or to add to the bucket, but I will keep you all updated to what works etc. They also sell some big domes at the supply store in the link, I might have to get a few of those and see what happens... If anyone has suggestions or anything to add, please feel free to pass it along!

Using a puppet to protect yourself from posting pics is one thing, but using this puppet to spread lies and trouble for another vendor is pretty uncool imo.
Some things will never change with you eh Dimitri?

I would never try to sell them, thats why I did the pod-tek. Why spend >$100 on something you could make yourself for under $35? Of course to each their own. I would rather have the extra money to buy a pressure cooker or something along those lines. If you follow the links on the pod-tek, you will see larger bells which you can buy 3 for $25, go buy a few pots which the bell will fit on, some geolite, and you have 3 of the larger pods for way under $100. I cant blame myco-tek for being upset, but from what I know there is no patent on the pods, plus the extra competition and posts probably brought more awareness to the pods, and probably helped myco-tek more than it had hurt.

Be carefull who you call the lier, D sent copies to everyone he does business with as well as the replies I will only post this one for now unless someone decides to make a stink there is 4 more. Save Address(es) Block Previous Next | Close From : "Mycotek - Hydra-Pod" Reply-To : To : "'DR. Therefore, the patent is not pending yet. This will take place in August and I will proceed with my claims at that point in time. I don't have the time right now to get into this with you because I am far too busy so do what you will at this point, I was simply giving you a fair warning... something that I didn't have to do but was cordial enough to make you aware of the situation. As far as your design not infringing on mine goes; that is very untrue as you will soon see. I have 3 claims that will be going into the Hydra-Pod patent that will be directly related to your version of my invention. One is the hydration feature using the geo-lite medium as a wicking system, the other is the air exchange phenomenon that is generated by the submerged air diffuser rod (or stone) that acts as a mixing box effect and the overall method involved with providing these features in my design will also be addressed if I pursue this issue in court. Something you need to know about Mycotek is that I am in negotiations with a much larger company in the industry right now which is forcing me to move ahead with the Hydra-Pod patent so that I can sell my business to then. The problem with all this is that my business is strictly a product-based one where I must obtain the sole rights to my product in the form of a filed (pending) patent before I can proceed with this. Once I have the patent pending in August then I can proceed with the negotiations which will involve me selling the whole company based on the Hydra-Pod and all that I have established in the way of company resources. Once this occurs, you will be contacted by that particular company if I can keep your presence out of their eye or else I will be forced to pursue legal rights to my design in a court of law so that I can proceed with this company. You are more than welcome to make an ass out of yourself at the shroomery because I don't have the time to play games with you "dimitri". Unlike your apartment setup, I have a business to run that involves international distributors in over 13 countries to date. It really doesn't bother me that you sell your magic bucket to the small time underground marketplace (shroomery) and that is not the issue here. That is why I never bothered to give you shit about it like I could have. The fact is that I merged into the larger marketplace with my product months ago and I am now moving more than 20-30 times the volume. So, I won't be around to fight with you on this. However, I will not let you stand in the way of me turning this deal in August and that is why I am being courteous enough o give you fair warning. If this does go to court then you will end up having to pay whoever owns the rights to the patent up to 25% of your total sales. So, consider it a threat or just consider it a reality that you have gotten yourself involved in. Doesn't matter to me. -XXXX

you can get those solar bells online here: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/seedsofchange/newsolbelclo.html. These ones are 18" in diameter. I'm not sure what the 5 gallon buckets are, so heres one that is 12" in diameter also: http://www.mastergardening.com/too-1026.html

Heya Drummer, I am not bothered in the absolute least by what you have done/are doing here with your pod clone. I am very happy that you are sharing your designs with the omc since I am not able to (as I explained in prior posts) and I really am flattered to know that you and others are benefitting from my design by "making it yourself" which is EXACTLY what I would personally do in your situation. So, there is no problem there in the least.
However, this little prick in my side (dimitri and puppet) is going to find himself pod-less soon enough. I don't appreciate what dimitri has done with my product design or everyone else's products that he has "stolen" and profited from since the go for that matter (eg. DB Kit, Myco-Bags, etc...).
The difference is; I am obtaining a patent for the Hydra-Pod and I will be happy to be the one to teach Dimitri some respect for other people's property and rights. As I said to you earlier "Dimitri", you will have your patent number by the 3rd week of next month (in 7 weeks to be exact) so you can enjoy it while it lasts since you will soon be closing shop on the pods.
