My first FC, 6 Cakes. Pics!

I just put 6 pint cakes in my FC, 2 inches of perlite (might be too dry... I'm not sure...) and I'm using little blue LED lights. Here are my pictures...







Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I heard they like blue lights so I felt those were perfect-o.

So is there anything I need to do? I just birthed these guys so should I just leave them be, or what?

Fan the cakes with the lid of the tub several times a day and also spray the sides of the tub once a day but you could probably get away without any spraying. You should probably only have the lights on for 12 hours and shut off for 12 hours. I can't wait to see the results!

Yeah, me either. I have a spray bottle with a really fine mist just in case. but I'll just let them run their course I suppose.

It doesn't seem as humid in there as I would hoped. Definitely not 98-99% by any means.

98% RH isn't really necessary. You can fruit cakes pretty easily over 90%. Nice FC, similar to mine (but I don't have lights). You might consider following the Poor Man's Pod tek to automate it after these cakes are done.
