Eli Manning is the future...
    #6295131 -

Diehard NYG fan. I got to say... Theres no QB I would rather have then Eli. Considering his age and how good he is.

his stats arent great, but the bottom line is that he almost always gets it done in big spots and in the 4th quarter.

The guy gives a whole nother dimension to the giants. I mean were almost never out of a game with Eli at QB. I love it man.

BTW you got to realize that the Giants have had a horrible QB situation since like 1992, which is part of the reason why I love the dude

The last good QB we had was Blanda :rofl2:
No seriously i thought Eli was a chump in the beginning but shit hes got a rocket arm just like Payton does and hes very accurate
That kids gonna surprise a lot of people
The Giants are commited to him and i think thats a good thing
We might see both Mannings in a superbowl soon
I like him more with every game
He was pretty sharp against the Bears defense

That deal worked out so well for you guys - Rivers AND Merriman.

Peyton has a relatively weak arm, well, not particularly strong.

Eli can get some pop on the ball, though.

Peyton has got that indefinable ability to get it done though. Kicking and screaming, he'll drag those colts up and down the field for the win.

Oh yeah, he's an amazing quarterback, and he gets the ball in just about the perfect position every time.

I'm just saying, in flat-out rocketing the ball, there's many with a stronger arm.

Compare his ability to just chuck it to that of Favre, Vick, Brady, Roethlisberger, Mcnabb, even bledsoe, and it's just not as strong.

Peyton's real advantage is his ability to get the ball in just right spot (after finding the perfect receiver, every damn time, just about), despite his lack of arm strength.

I don't mean he has a weak arm, like Pennington, Brees; it's just particularly strong.
