It's one thing to dislike a team, but to wish death by plane crash upon them? That's pretty harsh.

It's called jealousy. I guess I might hate them too, if I didn't live in Boston. But I wouldn't wish them dead :P

Oh gooddie another NY vs Boston( Thank Brady for his comments) war.. Now i am not a Giants fans but being from NY, and having a dislike for Boston that stems from a different sport i got to go with Eli on this one...
It is time for the mighty Brady and the rest of the team to taste that one loss.. And what better a place to do it but in the Championship game, against NY ..

I dont literally want them to die. I just dont like either team. I cant imagine that I will even watch this Superbowl. Its either the Pats go 19-0 with a ring or Eli gets his ring and all we hear about in San Diego is how Eli is the better QB and we should have kept him (which I dont think is true).

You might not think it's true but it sure as hell looks like it right now. The coaching staff in NY were probably better suited to developing his talent. I could root for either team. My dad raised me to be a Gmen fan, but I live in Boston and that would be betraying my town.

I dont think Eli is a better QB. He has started games since '04 and Rivers has the better record as a starter. I know record doesnt matter if you dont go all the way but its Rivers second season as a starter and he has done a hell of job. Not that Eli isnt good, they are both inconsistent as hell.
My main beef with the people that will say "Chargers should have kept Eli," is that Eli said he woulnt play for us. We would have been Ryan Leaf'ed again and been the biggest joke in the NFL. Plus we got some pretty good players out of that deal.
But, people will look past that and say "Yeah, but Eli made it to the Superbowl," ignoring the simple fact that the Giants are in the NFC and the Chargers had a much tougher schedule and new coaching staff.
Im just upset right now, this game will be a lose, lose situation for me.

God forbid LT get upset when the Pats beat the Chargers and insult the team by doing the Merriman dance. I cant believe people get upset when someone disrespects them on their own field.
But hey, the Pats have class.

It's classy to do a dance when you celebrate a tackle? They were throwing his lack of class in their face. You got beat, be a man, you notice he was the only one bitching?! A team can't celebrate either right, only if its on their homefield?
NFL: paid to play football. Who cares if they are nice guys. It's like that running up the score BS. IF you cant handle it stop them. If i win it's my right to enjoy it wherever I please.
Phillip Rivers has class right? It's classy to yell at fans?
Your whole post is full of FAIL.

I never said it was ok for Rivers to mouth off to Indy fans or Jay Cutler, or whoever else he may have mouthed off to. I think that shit needs to stop as well.
Nor did I say no one could celebrate. I simply said the way in which they celebrated was insulting and disrespectful. Not the Pats as a whole either, just the 2 or 3 guys that actually did it. It was wrong for LT, in that situation, to lose his cool but its definately more understandable than winning a game and being an asshole.
"Who cares if they are nice guys"
Obviously the NFL cares otherwise people wouldnt get fines and shit for being jerks. Mouth off to refs you get fined. Dance in the end-zone after you score you get penalized and fined (In Brandon Marshalls case). You are an idiot if you think no one cares. The league has rules about this shit for a reason. Maybe do some research or watch a couple football games before trying to throw this non-sense at me.

I dont think comparing him to Ryan Leaf is accurate. IF you want to compare anyone to Ryan Leaf it should be Eli Manning and his "I wont play for the Chargers," crap.
Rivers plays. He does mouth off to fans of other teams which pisses me off. Reminds me more of Michael Vick than Ryan Leaf in the sense of mouthing off.
