this is some fucked up shit. is there a Doctor in the house?

i just got word that my longtime friend
is snorting a GUNPOWDER & Cocaine mixture,
on top of his alcoholism.

i seen him tonight,
he's been up for 4 days & his motor functions
are much like someone with Parkinson's disease.
i couldnt even look him in the eyes  or converse with him.

hes only 23 and he has no local family,
other than friendship between me & my bros.
the only thing i can do is call his dad
& let him know what his son is doing with himself.

will this gunpowder kill him?
should i call his dad?

ever since that movie with Nicolas Cage think its god of war...snorting gunpowder with coke is the "cool thing" to do.

Dude one night without sleep is bad enough. I do that and I am all incoherent the next day, can barely function properly.. After two days I start hallucinating bad. I can hardly imagine 4 days.. and coupled with coke and alcoholism and.... gunpowder???.. man knock that kid out now. nunciate said slip him some benzos, that's probably the best thing. He needs sleep.

if he was my friend i think i might do that. the guy needs serious help and he needs it fast, and if he's snorting gunpowder daily then he obviously isn't going to listen to reason when you try to tell him to stop. he needs rehab before it's too late.

can you imagine being in rehab and having to tell everyone in group that you were addicted to gunpowder? that'd be embarressing

If he's snorting single-base gunpowder he's plain retarded. If he snorts double-base gunpowder however, the contained nitroglycerin will have a poppers-like effect, providing a hefty rush.

You're "supposed" to hold it under your tongue and then spit it out tho, that's what the child soldiers are doing.

The nitrocellulose will form a highly flammable crud in his nose which if ignited will kill him in a horrible way: it might blow his nose off and leave a gaping hole.

But double-base or no: he should quit it right now. Gunpowder contains stabilizers like diphenylamine which bioaccumulate and are really unhealthy, especially for the liver. On top of that: increasing heartrate and making bloodpressure drop hard isn't exactly the thing you'd want to be doing during a coke binge. If you AFTER a coke binge get crushing chest pain a wee bit of poppers may save your life while waiting for the ambulance, but the combination he uses is a recipy for lethal heart rhythm disturbances.

He needs sleep NOW, sleep deprivation and alcohol is no help here, the combination of factors makes that your friend is in a seriously dangerous place where it comes to his cardiovascular system.

He must quit his binging, have a light meal and two glasses of water or milk and try get to sleep.

I don't know his dad but if he;s a reasonable man: if that's what it takes to end the binge, it might well be justified.
