i dunno why but this oink shit is confusing me. i just became a member and i cannot figure out how to listen to what i have downloaded. anybody have an easy to follow instruction website. oink anly gives one that leads to different torrent sites. i know the basics that you cannot download to high of a ratio and about being clever has to do with whether or not the firewall is up. but i have tons of questions like knowing what to upload to oink(whetehr or not the material is already on, do i just serach myself to see? etc) basically i am just confused about the whole thing. any insight?

the reason Oink membership requires an invite is that it's assumed that members will only invite new people if they demonstrate a working knowledge of bit torrent and have shown good download etiquette.

If you can't figure out Oink, you don't need to be there.

hahaha.......how am i going to learn something before i try it. what an ignorant statement! all i wanted was to know if anybody knew an easy write-up that shows the basics. and yes i fucking have winamp.

i try to but nothing happens. i think i dl'd it wrong because i click on the bold descripton beside the word download and i save it to my c drive but it downloads in like half a second and when i try and open it nothing happens. also my ratio does not change so i couldnt have dl's it. i dunno what the problem is.

You dont even know how to use torrents.

Google bitTorrent and spend some time learning.

I learned bit torrent after I got an invite to oink. It can be done. Maybe the person who invited you can give you a tip or two?

I suggest using Utorrent as your client.. its pretty simple and sets it's self up (basically).

PLEASE SEED THE TORRENTS YOU DOWNLOAD TO A 1 RATIO. If you don't you will be kicked off the site, and you will have hurt the community.
