true. i knew a guy that put a huge Precision SC60 turbo on his CRX. the little D16 couldn't spool it.

whoa...I wonder what boost pressure that would run...and yea...the rest of the set up in terms of compression, and fuel management, electronics....crap...if set up properly, I'm sure it would melt tires in a microsecond!!

Oh the turbos spool up real well on that thing, if I am not mistaken I have seen it or a similar setup at rockingham. The boost is well over 45psi.

That's no suprise, the D16A only makes 108 hp and 89 ft-lbs torque....at the crank.

you could boost the D16 very high, just takes good internal work and cylinder wall sleeving. Some think the single cam vtecs are better than the DOHC, the guy probably had a b16 in his....maybe. I would think he would if he had the money to put a SC60 turbo on it.

Personally I am going with a t3/t4 hybrid on my spec v as soon as I save another 2 grand up.
