Looking for a Bufo alvarius (Colorado River Frog)
    #6225245 -

I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a Colorado River Frog (Bufo alvarius) that doesnt cost over a 100$ (not including shipping). I know of one place, Bounceing Bear Botanicls that sells them but for 175 each or 250 for two. I personally, do not have the money to buy one and would not appreciate being monopalized on for wanting to experience something profound. Any suggestions other than shoving the latter statement is welcome.

If I knew of another place online that sold them for that cheap I wouldn't tell ya anyway 'cause you called 'em frogs.

Just kidding. I really would tell ya if I knew but I don't. Got mine from BBB.

If you read up on this toad, with Wikipedia, Erowid and by extensive use of Google; you can come to understand it...

Then, if you can get to its native habitat sometime, preferably during the seasonal "monsoon" that hits the Colorado River region; you can just catch one.

Obviously I've really been wasting my time here, I should catch some and start a breeding program.

there are really only a few sources online.

BBB is one of em.

The other is slightly cheaper, but is a legit exotic animal distributor......and you must call the order in. (they have the right to refuse sale, so dont sound like some kid chasing magic toads for the high)

They used to be pretty cheap but have since raised the price up....still cheaper than BBB though.

Glade.

your vet is a choad.
the toad you are finding is Bufo marinus. (cane toad)
It does not contain DMT, is not native, and sure as heck is not addictive to dogs.
