Storing in fridge between flushes. Is it possible?

Hi:
I might have to go away next week for 9 days or so. I have 3 trays: One is on it's first flush the other two getting ready for the second.
Is it ok if I store the trays in the fridge while I'm away?

I would think so, but my friend has never tried it. My friend has stored trays in the fridge before the first flush for a week or more. Be sure you double/triple bag the trays to keep out all the nasties.

I left some cakes in the fridge for a little over a month at exactly 39F, but they dried out and shrank. They did pin after being put back into the terrarium but all the pins turned black. Maybe if you wrapped them up real good to make sure they dont lose any moisture. I think that was the only real problem mine had.

wrap them up airtight and they will store - although any present contams may thrive in the airtight environment
