Could you possibly imagine that environment? the nasty contams ... and.. where are you going to take a shower? provide a more sterile environ, for both your shrooms, and yourself.

I would think it would be a spare tub maybe... not the one you'd be using to keep yourself clean.

Actually one of the cleanest plays in a home after a cleaning . Why do you think peeps do G2G's and such there .

Think about it . Everything is ceramic , vinyl or plastic . You clean off the sink , back of the commode and clean with some bleach or alcohol and spray down with Lysol , leave , close the door , (make sure the AC and heat are off) come back 15 minutes later and you have a pretty darn clean work area .

No carpet , curtains , clothes , etc .

Bottom line, why would you want to put all your eggs in one basket? All it takes is one contaminate to scrap the whole lot. Seems like the stakes would be too high for me.

Kiddie Pool... much better bet, the fabled =Kiddie Pool.

but, LxWxH
12x12x4" is about the limit as far as sub preference.

so.. trays would be more "bulk" then a bathtub

i have 80 cakes right now incubating and im using a large rubbermaid container for the incubating... So why not just get 1 more o so? the problem is not the incubating but the fruiting lol... where to put all these damn cakes..

In the trash and switch to WBS to bulk , LMAO , J/K  :grin:

You will have a great deal of fruits if you do it right . I did when I did 75 cakes my first go :thumbup:

a good estimate would be:

HCs final dry weight/75 = V

v x 5 =  N

N + HCs final dry weight.



that is --- only if you do everything the same as her :smile:

then again - i did just wake up, and i got a D in business calc this semester - so it wouldn't surprise me if my basic algebra is way off.

most I have ever made is 115 cakes. at one time

now I can colonize a grain jar in 10 days or less, I only make em' when i need em.

there is no need to make those anymore.

also think of 1 dry eigth per cake.
80/8 = 10 Oz. Dry
(If your lucky)
