Third-party defrag utility for windows XP?
    #6216619 -

Even with >25% free space on my HD, defrag has little to no effect on the fragmentation of my drive. It's fragmented enough to definitely need defragmentation, and in 10 times running defrag there is no noticeable change whatsoever in the analysis results.

Are there any third party programs which are less impotent?

Diskeeper 2007's InvisiTasking doesn't work with Folding@home. There's no way to increase the priority so it just sits there waiting for idle CPU. I couldn't defragment automatically anymore, it sucked. :frown:
