Canadians + hockey + beer = Loud/Funloving Canadians

Working at the hockey arena is fun. On friday (last night) our crappy Bluejackets played the canadian maple leafs.
Boy, I wasn't expecting such a rowdy crowd!

Let me first start by saying, I love canadians, they are such NICE, kinda, respectful people. (most of them anyways)
Every canadian i have met from the shroomery has been downright awesome..so needless to say I was pretty
excited that we were playing them!

Anyways, the first thing i see as I'm walking into the arena is a car FULL of canadians piling out,
screaming at the top of their lungs "WE JUST DROVE FROM TORONTO FOR THE HOCKEY GAME AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"
I chuckled to myself as a continued onward "good ole canadians"

During the game, i swear about 1/4 of the away crowd had all come from canada to root for their team (great team spirit)
Tons of kids painted blue and white, and lots of cheers of victory as the Leafs kicked our asses.
(good ole canadians, so fun-loving and free!)

On the way out, i heard scores of cheers "GO LEAFS GO!" and talked to some kids
that drove in from canada!

On conclusion, I will take drunk, spirited canadians over obnoxious Red Wings fan or Penguins fans
anyday, and the biggest reason is because I think canadians are hilariously awesome.

Hockey is one of the few sports I actually enjoy going to gmes for. Fast paced violent insanity!

Cant stand to really follow the teams or watch it on TV though.

We beat your asses good :wink:  Toronto is a crazy hockey town, even on off days the media is all over.  If they are in position to win the cup this year I'll be down there at the bars watching the game.

Yeah the Pittsburgh fans are pretty bad, hockey and football alike.

I'd love to work at a hockey arena, shit I'd love to still be playing in a hockey arena, I envy your job.
