Chantrelles? ID Request.

I found these in my yard growing under some sort of Pines. They could possibly be very large Doug Fir. I don't know. I DO know they are not cedar or hemlock.

These mushrooms grow here every year. Nearby are some Lep. procera (I think) Shaggy parasoles. And sometimes there are some what I believe to be Oyster mushrooms (Large whitish/greyish mushrooms with white gills. Anyways. Here are the specs on the species in question.

Pileus: 1-2.5 inches in diam. Smooth with small specs of brown. Cap color is light orange/dark yellow. Round to wavy in older specimens.

Gills: Bunched tightly, uniform. Attached to stipe. Very light yellow or creamy colored.

Stipe: 0.5-1 cm in diam. Same color as cap. Strong, lighter colored towards base, and towards cap.

Spores: So sorry I did not take a spore print. Too much work. Don't REALLY care too much. Probably won't eat them. Just curious if someone can tell from the pics what they are, then great.

Habitat: Under pine of some sort. Growing from dirt with pine needles and other woody debris. In the vicinity of Lepiota Procera (so I believe.)

Are they real gills or are they more like folds of skin? I think they look like real gills which means they arent chants, (although I cant really see in much detail) . :frown:

They look like they could be. Are the gills more like folds than gills? Is there any cross-veining of the gills?

They don't have that Chanterelle look to them, Clitocybe perhaps?

im not sure of the genus, tip of the tongue, but i know for sure that that is a psychoactive mushroom. seen it before, ive eaten ever mushroom known to man, tripped on all of them, and i clearly remember that shit man!

Agree with Feelers and CureCat, those look like a clitocybe species. They're certainly not chanterelles.

Oh, ShrOOmTaRd please go ahead and eat every mushroom known to man. That'll make sure you won't bother us for long around here anymore.
