Pumpkin carvin

Well, i'm a little dissapointed, i dont think i'll be able to carve a pumpkin this year... not one that i could do with any passion anyway... here's some from the past years

lots of patience, and a few "FUCK!!!"s :grin:


You gotta draw it on there first, and thin the pumpkin out, with a spoon, drag it up the inside walls untill it get's real thin, so you dont have to go jabbin thru an inch of pumpkin. Then you find out where your non-cut lines are, and go at it with an exacto or other good blade.  Use paperclips to support pieces that fall off...  it's best to start in the center, and work out, so you have the most solid support when jabbing in...

for the skull, i had a projector, and i printed out the design on a transparency, and then just shined it on the pumpkin and traced...
here it is on the wall, much larger...


and the bear, i printed out the design, using a program that blows up any image to any size... then i cut that out as a stencil, then traced it on there...
