Fix A Broken Bong?

Well, shit.

I have a 2 perc beaker glass PHX that I just broke the stem (female junction attached to bong) clean off. No cracks and no shatters luckily, is there any possiblity that I can get this glass welded back on? Anyone have experience or heard of this?

hmm if its glass i'd have to say i havent any reccomendations ..
ive always wanted to attempt gluing one back together with Gorilla Glue , although the negative effects produced by the chemicals in it could be enough to turn anyone away , you could try some Jb Weld ...that might work ...

ill look around on glass mends and see what i can find.

Post pics to help me and anyone else to help you.

There is probably a way to save your bong using some expensive glue, or you could get a new piece for the same price maybe? I'm not sure what "2 perc beaker glass PHX" means.

i broke the stem on two quality glass on glass bongs recently. :rolleyes:

but i had them both fixed at a local headshop(with an in house blower) for $60 each. :thumbup:

they cost $200+ so paying just 60 is quite the save.

Gorilla glue is crap, IME.

If I were in that situation and didn't mind the appearance of a metallic glue in the seam, I'd use some JB-weld on it. The joint will wind up stronger than the surrounding glass is.

Ah fuck, I was gonna use my camera phone, but it says "service outage" (wtf).

See where the glass on glass stem goes inside the bong? I broke the female connection attached to the bong clean off.

If it's a clean enough break you could definetly use a rubber stopper setup like this one on mine.
